"Transcend"

This painting was inspired by watching the tides on a shoreline, one coming in after another; as they transcend or overcome the last wave, eventually meeting on a sandy shoreline. 

If only the sounds of the waves hitting a beach could be inbedded in these paintings; as looking at them one can clearly imagine that sound of the water washing up on a beach, tempting you to place your feet in the waves reaching for the shoreline.
